Cloudy evening with a few stray showers north
Increasing clouds but still mild
Tonight stays incredibly mild, with lows near 60 degrees. It’s the kind of evening where you can leave the heavy jacket at home and even crack a window. Clouds will continue to move in, and that’s our sign of a small pattern change is starting to take shape.
Friday brings us cloudy skies through the day with a few early morning showers north of the metro. Temperatures will climb right back into the low to mid-70s, so it will still feel spring-like. We could see a few quick showers and storms pop up late evening into the start of the weekend, but you won’t need to cancel any evening plans.
The real payoff happens heading into the weekend.
On Saturday afternoon, the clouds finally start to break apart, and sunshine makes a comeback. Record daytime highs will be the talker across the region.
The weather looks fantastic for the rest of the weekend with bright skies, comfortable warmth, and low humidity. Perfect for getting outside, tackling some holiday decorating, hitting a festival, or just enjoying a quiet fall weekend before things get busier next month.
