Happy Friday friends! If youβre heading out for Black Friday errands or just trying to enjoy some fresh air, bundle up, as it feels very winter like across the region.Β Afternoon temperatures will hover in the mid to upper 40s, with a steady northernly breeze which will make it feel more like the 30s. In the foothills it will be even chiller with highs barely nudging out of the 30s all day. Make sure you layer up, as the cold air sticks around.
Saturday morning starts off with another round of 20s, and the afternoon wonβt warm up much beyond the mid to upper 40s. The great news is sunshine sticks around through the day, keeping things bright even though itβs chilly.
By Sunday, a weak cold front will move in and shakes things up. It wonβt be a soggy day from start to finish, but scattered showers will drift through at times. If youβre planning to cheer on the Panthers, I recommend having the rain gear handy. Afternoon temperatures will land in the 40s and lower 50s.
Our next round of wet weather arrives Monday night into Tuesday morning. Most of us will stay in plain cold rain territory, but the foothills and the mountains may see a wintry mix. This will be a very impactful storm system across the country bringing a mix bag of weather conditions. Stay tuned!
