Chilly evening with winds picking up Wednesday

Tonight, things will continue to stay nice and dry under partly cloudy skies with overnight lows remaining in the upper 20s and lower 30s. The positive news is things start to warm–up a bit on Wednesday afternoon. Highs are expected to climb into the mid-50s, which will feel like a nice break from the cooler days we’ve been having. The tradeoff for a bit of warmth will be windy conditions. Gusts could reach up to 30 mph at times, so keep that in mind if you’re heading out or trying to enjoy some outdoor activities.
Tomorrow night, a few isolated snow showers will impact the high country thanks to a weak front moving through. It won’t be a big snow event with only light flurries expected along with minimal accumulation. Other than that, we’re mostly in for dry weather, which is great news for plans later this week. This
Looking ahead to the weekend, temperatures are expected to warm up even more, giving us a brief taste of mild conditions before a big pattern change arrives next week. Those wondering about rain, it looks like our chances remain very low for the next five to seven days. Besides tomorrow this will be a great time to put up decorations or get that holiday shopping done!
