Temperatures Quickly Rising Through The Week
Sun and clouds move in Tuesday
For the next several days it’s really a sunshine vs. clouds battle and whichever one wins will decide just how warm we get. Most days will feature a good amount of sun with a few clouds and that’s more than enough to boost temperatures well above where we should be for January standards.
Tomorrow is one of those days where clouds linger a little longer, highs will still feel pleasant, landing in the upper 60s. By Wednesday sunshine dominates, and the warmth really shows up. Daytime highs will climb into the low to mid-70s, brushing up against record territory for this time of year.
The mild pattern doesn’t shut off at sunset either. A steady southwest breeze will keep pulling in warmer air, preventing those sharp overnight drops we usually expect in winter. Instead of freezing mornings, we’ll wake up to temperatures in the 40s, with a few nights barely dipping below 50!
Temperatures will be running nearly 15 to 20 degrees above average with rain chances remaining very low until this weekend when our next cold front arrives.
