News release provided by Sugar Creek Brewing

CHARLOTTE, N.C. β€” Sugar Creek Brewing Company is bringing its craft beer experience to Charlotte Douglas International Airport with its first-ever airport location, in partnership with HMSHost. The new 939-square-foot taproom seats 40 and will showcase its award-winning beer brewed by a Master Cicerone, blending traditional Trappist‐style brewing with modern techniques.

The taproom will be located in the expanded Concourse A, near the Wright Brothers exhibit β€” a fitting pairing of aviation history and local craftsmanship.

What Travelers Can Expect:

  • Seasonal and small‐batch beers like the β€˜Big O Blood Orange IPA’ and β€˜Zeppelin White Ale’
  • Craft cocktails and wine for non‐beer drinkers
  • An exclusive β€˜First Flight’ pilsner brewed only for the CLT airport location
  • A Belgian‐inspired brewing approach blending traditions with modern techniques

“While some airport concepts are built around full-service dining experiences, we wanted to create something different for travelers passing through Charlotte. Our focus at Sugar Creek is on exceptional beer β€” world-class brews
crafted by a Master Cicerone, including small-batch and exclusive offerings you won’t find anywhere else. It’s a faster, beer-forward experience designed for people who care about quality, even when they’re on the move.”
-Co-founder Eric Flanigan

This new location marks Sugar Creek Brewing Company’s continued growth and introduces travelers from around the world to one of Charlotte’s established craft breweries.
