Dry Saturday with rain Sunday

Beneficial rain moving in

We’ve got  clear skies tonight, with temperatures expected to drop quickly. It will be the coldest night we’ve seen in over a week. It’s  the only time we dip below freezing, so bundle up early if you’re heading out.

After that chilly start, Saturday actually turns pretty nice. We’ll climb into the low 50s, which honestly feels pretty comfortable for a February evening. Clouds increase late, and rain moves in overnight. Valentine’s Day itself stays dry.

Sunday is a soggy one. Expect rain for much of the day, though it won’t be nonstop. There will be a few breaks, especially later in the afternoon and into the evening, when some drier pockets try to sneak in. Highs hover around 50 degrees, making it kind of a gray, lazy Sunday vibe. It’ll likely go down as the coolest, wettest, and cloudiest day of the week. By Sunday evening, the rain wraps up, with about 1 to 2 inches falling throughout the day.

Next week brings a big warm-up!
