80s continue for the rest of the week

Summer feel sticking around

Spring has officially moved in!

Tonight you can leave the jacket at home as we turn into partly cloudy skies with lows in the mid 50s.

As we head into Thursday, high pressure settles in even more, helping temperatures stretch closer to the upper 70s. It’s the kind of warmth that makes you double-check the calendar to make sure it’s still March.

We really turn up the heat to close out the week. Friday and Saturday are bringing more than just a mild warm-up. Sunshine will be in full supply Friday with highs pushing into the low 80s. Saturday keeps that same momentum going, staying warm and bright, which makes it a great excuse to make outdoor plans, fire up the grill, or just spend some time soaking it all in.

But don’t get too comfortable with the dry stretch. Changes are on the horizon by Sunday as our next system rolls in. Rain chances have increased and we could even see a few stronger thunderstorms mixed in. Showers look more widespread by Monday, signaling a soggier start to the new week.

For now, enjoy the sunshine and the unseasonably warm air while it’s here, because spring is reminding us it can be a little unpredictable.
