Crews working to repair sinkhole in Gastonia

GASTONIA, N.C. – Gastonia police are warning drivers about a sinkhole that opened up Saturday afternoon.

It opened up on Osceola Street off Union Road.

We’re told police were blocking traffic while the city worked to assess and repair the damage.

Drivers are asked to avoid the area.
