CMPD investigating murder after 24-year-old man’s body is found

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – CMPD is investigating the death of a man found in the 700 block of Belmeade Drive in northwest Charlotte.

Officers say the body of 24-year-old Julian Spencer was found just before 10:30 Tuesday morning in a utility right-of-way, but have not said how he died. The case is being investigated as a homicide.
