The Edge: Denny Hamlin captures first win since his dad’s death

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – An amazing feat by Denny Hamlin. While still grieving the loss of his father, Hamlin turns pain into power. The NASCAR veteran captured an emotional win at the Pennzoil 400 in Las Vegas. It is his first since the devastating loss of his father in a house fire in December.

Hamlin dedicated the moment to his dad and admitted the grief is still very real. His family, including his mom, who was burned in the fire, joined him at the finish line Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
