Former HS football coach arrested, charged with with indecent liberties with students
HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. – A former football coach has been arrested, accused of taking indecent liberties with two Catholic school students.
22-year-old Johnathan Henderson was employed by Christ The King Catholic High School in Huntersville last May, when Kannapolis Police say the incidents happened. Henderson was arrested on Friday. On Monday, a Cabarrus County judge placed him under a $30,000 bond.
Both alleged victims were 16-years-old students at the school at the time. School officials say Henderson was terminated back in June, after they learned he was holding unauthorized football training sessions off campus.
Henderson is due back in court on April 8th for a probable cause hearing.
