Increased fire threat with more sunshine Monday
Rising temperatures this week
Tuesday and Wednesday is when it really starts to feel like a preview of summer. Tuesday looks gorgeous with lots of sunshine and highs pushing into the low 80s. It will be a little breezy at times, though, with some stronger gusts.
By Wednesday, we hit the warmest point of this stretch, with highs reaching the mid-80s. The day starts off bright and mostly sunny, but as we get into the afternoon especially after about 2 PM we’ll be watching for a few showers and thunderstorms to pop up. It’s not going to rain everywhere, but it’s one of those days where you’ll want to stay weather-aware.
That slightly unsettled setup doesn’t completely go away as we head toward the end of the week, but the warmth definitely sticks around.
Thursday stays warm, with highs in the low 80s again, and there’s still a chance for a few afternoon showers.
Then on Friday, we’ll see more clouds moving in as another system approaches. Rain chances go up a bit, but even with the extra clouds, temperatures are still holding strong in the low 80s.
More to come!
