Pop showers and a few storms Friday, mostly dry
Soggy Easter Sunday
As we head into the afternoon and early evening, thereβs a chance for aΒ fewΒ brief shower or even a pop-up thunderstorm. Not everyone will see rain, and most of the day will stay dry,Β but if youβre out and about later on, just keep an eye on the sky. Any storms that do develop should be quick-moving and fairly isolated.
Looking ahead to the weekend:
Saturday is shaping up to be the clear winner if youβve got outdoor plans. Expect warm temperatures in the 80s and just a slight chance for a pop-up shower or storm later in the day.Β These storms will be brief but a little more widespread compared to Friday.Β Β
Sunday isnβt a total washoutΒ with a few hours of dry time early morningΒ butΒ heavy to moderate rain is expected Sunday afternoon into the eveningΒ .Β Β It will be slightly muggy withΒ highs in the 70s.
Into next week,Β weβll start things off a bit cooler and less humid, settling back into that classic April feel. Expect highs in the upper 60s and mornings dipping into the 40s.Β Frost concerns will be in play for sections of the High Country.
ENJOY!
