Early morning frost concerns turning into sunny skies
Warmer weekend ahead!
Thursday is starting off on a chilly note, with some areas waking up to temperatures in the 30s. This could very well be the last truly cold morning we see until fall, so soak it in while it lasts. From here on out, the trend is up.
As we move through the end of the week, that high pressure system shifts offshore, and our winds begin to turn in from the east and south. That’s what helps kick off the warm-up. By Friday, you’ll really start to feel the difference with milder mornings and warmer afternoons.
Heading into the weekend, the forecast is looking great. Saturday and Sunday both bring a mix of sun and clouds with highs climbing into the mid-80s. If you’ve got outdoor plans, you’re good to go, just be ready for it to feel more like early summer.
The only downside, we’re still not seeing any rain. High pressure continues to dominate, keeping things dry not just through the weekend, but likely into much of next week as well.
