Monroe Police use license plate readers to catch murder suspect wanted in SC

MONROE, N.C. – Monroe Police say they’ve caught a murder suspect wanted out of Chesterfield, South Carolina. They say 27-year-old Reggie Ivey was caught using license plate readers. The readers tracked down his vehicle at the Icemorlee Apartment Complex.

Investigators have not revealed details about the alleged murder Ivey was wanted in connection to.

He remains behind bars.
