Several injured in crash involving CMPD cruiser

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Four people are injured after a serious crash in south Charlotte Tuesday morning.

The crash was reported at the intersection of Carmel Road and Pineville-Matthews Road, just before 3 a.m.

A Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police cruiser was involved in the accident.

The area is clear and open to drivers.
