11-year-old painter uses watercolors to change the world

CHARLOTTE, N.C.– Laylin Bradbury has been using her self taught gift of art to give back to our community—raising funds for Hurricane Helene relief, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and most recently, blood cancer research through the America’s Most Artistic Kid contest. What started as a love for painting at just five years old has grown into a mission to spread beauty and hope throughout Charlotte.

She frequently donates her artwork to local businesses, including Eye Center of Charlotte and Waterbean of Pineville, simply to brighten someone’s day and share the joy that art brings her. Laylin recently won 2nd place in the “America’s Most Artistic Kid” contest.
