CMPD cold case detectives use DNA to make arrest in 33-year-old unsolved sex assault case

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – An arrest in a 33-year-old unsolved sex assault case in south Charlotte. Cold case detectives used DNA evidence to identify 57-year-old Willie Little as their suspect. Police arrested him last Thursday.

He’s accused of breaking into a woman’s home on Benjamin Street in July of 1993 and sexually assaulting a 79-year-old woman in her bed.
