Students, educators host walk-in for more investments in public schools
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Educators, students and parents are calling on state lawmakers to fix the lack of investments in public schools.
A walk-in was held at First Baptist Church West in Charlotte Friday morning.
It’s part of the “Kids Over Corporation Campaign.”
A bigger rally is happening in Raleigh next Friday, April 24.
More than 1,000 teachers across Charlotte have called out to attend.
