GASTONIA, N.C. – A man has been arrested and charged in connection to a deadly shooting at an apartment complex in Gaston County.
Police say 21-year-old Elijah Dontavious Lorenzo Craig shot 19-year-old Izaiyah Wilson and an 18-year-old at the Fairhaven Place apartments on Hine Way, around 7:45 p.m. on April 1.
Wilson later died. The other victim is still recovering in the hospital.
Court records showed that almost four weeks after the shooting a warrant was issued for Craig’s arrest.
He’s charged with First Degree Murder and Attempted First Degree Murder, and is being held at the Gaston County Jail.
This remains an active investigation.
