Video shows SUV driving across Topgolf course in University City

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Wild video from the Topgolf in University City. Witness Laudyn Provost tells WCCB this happened this past Saturday around midnight. He recorded a person driving an SUV back and forth across the course a few times.

Provost says other people at Topgolf were “definitely shocked.” He says people on the first floor of the venue were especially startled since the SUV started driving toward them. Provost says the driver wasn’t saying or yelling anything, “but he did look very confused.”

Provost says he after the driver left the course, he drove off with under carriage of the vehicle dragging behind it.

We have an email into the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department as well as Topgolf to ask if there is an investigation into what happened, and what charges the driver could possibly face.
