Lincoln Co. Sheriff’s deputy arrested and charged with cyberstalking

MECKLENBURG CO., N.C. – A judge has set a $5,000 bond for a Lincoln County Sheriff’s deputy arrested in Mecklenburg County on Saturday.

40-year-old Michael Hargrave is charged with cyberstalking and communicating threats. Hargrave allegedly told a family member in part, that he is a “mean and vindictive person” and “I’m going full violent ruin your life kinda offense.”

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office has placed Hargrave on administrative leave, pending investigation. Court documents say Hargrave was kept in jail over the weekend under a 48-hour domestic violence hold.
