Man will spend life in prison for murder during drug deal in University City
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A man will spend life in prison for a murder during a drug deal in University City.
A jury convicted 32-year-old Joshua McClain of first degree murder on Wednesday in the shooting death of 43-year-old Lamar McNeil. Police found McNeil shot in an apartment complex parking lot on Wit Way in March of 2020.
A second suspect, Darian Huffman, has already been convicted in connection to the case.
