Investigators: Husband and wife die in massive house fire near China Grove

ROWAN CO., N.C. – Investigators say a husband and wife have died after a massive house fire in Rowan County.

Crews arrived just before midnight Sunday to find the home fully-engulfed on Saw Road off Highway 152. That’s near China Grove. They say the floor collapsed in the one-story home with a full basement.

The victims have not been identified. The Fire Marshal’s office is still working to determine the cause.
