Deputies: 2 people busted for trafficking drugs out of Statesville motel

IREDELL CO., N.C. – Iredell County Sheriff’s deputies say they’ve busted two people for trafficking drugs out of a Statesville motel.

29-year-old Brittany Bean and 41-year-old Demario Stewart were arrested Monday at the Red Roof Inn on East Broad Street.

Deputies used a search warrant to enter their motel room, where they found fentanyl powder, crystal meth, and money believed to be from drug sales.

Investigators say the pair were already wanted on felony drug warrants from neighboring counties.
