HEARTest Yard 5k Preview With Amazing Grace

CHARLOTTE, NC — A Charlotte tradition is marking a major milestone this year. The 10th Annual HEARTest Yard + Showmars 5K returns Saturday, May 16, bringing the community together to support children living with congenital heart disease and their families.

Hosted by Greg Olsen’s nonprofit, The HEARTest Yard, and Charlotte-based restaurant Showmars, the event benefits Atrium Health Levine Children’s Hospital and families navigating congenital heart disease diagnoses.

Lisa and Brian Frankenfield stopped by WCCB Rising with their 10-month-old daughter Grace, who was born with hypoplastic left heart syndrome. Families like the Frankenfields are among those directly impacted by the support and resources made possible through the event.
