Two teens killed in deadly, fiery wreck in southwest Charlotte

Police say a car driving on Westinghouse Boulevard just after six Wednesday night, veered into oncoming traffic, and hit another car before bursting into flames.

The driver and the passenger in the first car, 17-year-olds Adrian Melo-Escobar and Asletty Herrera-Ramirez, died. MEDIC took the driver of the car that got hit to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
