2 local teens to receive award after saving woman from exploding car
UNION CO., S.C. – Two Union County teens are being praised for their quick thinking before a car burst into flames. The Union County Sheriff’s Office says Mandi Tarr and Joella Meadows were traveling on Unionville Indian Trail Road when they noticed smoke and flames coming from the car in front of them, back on April 30th.
They pulled alongside the driver, and warned her to pull over.
They then convinced her to move away from the car, before it exploded moments later. The Sheriff’s Office says it will award the teens with it’s Good Samaritan Award.
