CMPD investigating after deadly shooting in north Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – No arrests after a deadly shooting in north Charlotte. It happened just after 2:30 Tuesday afternoon in a wooded area off Tom Hunter Road, near North Tryon Street.

Investigators say the victim and suspect got into an argument on a cut-through path. Police arrived to find a man shot several times. He died at the hospital.

We’re told there were several witnesses, but many left the scene before police arrived.
