MEDIC: 1 person taken to the hospital after house fire

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – MEDIC says it took one person to the hospital after an east Charlotte house fire. It happened around 4:00 Tuesday afternoon on East 35th Street, just off The Plaza.

30 firefighters got it under control in less than 20 minutes. We’re told the person treated at the hospital has minor injuries.
