SC Senate rejects Trump’s call to re-draw congressional maps before mid-terms

COLUMBIA, S.C. – The South Carolina Senate has rejected President Trump’s call to re-draw congressional maps before the mid-term elections.

Some senators say it was simply too late to make a change.

It comes as early voting began Tuesday, ahead of the state’s June 9th primary. Lawmakers in states across the country have been attempting to re-draw congressional maps to help swing the balance of power in Washington.
