Areas hit by Hurricane Helene seeing issues again after heavy rain this week

HENDERSON CO., N.C. – Areas impacted by Hurricane Helene are seeing issues again after the heavy rain. Three roads are closed in Henderson County, near Bat Cave.

Officials say some areas got up to 10 inches of rainfall, leaving behind debris on the roads.

A local fire department had to rescue people trapped inside their homes from rising flood waters on Monday night.
