Two people died and four others were injured following a rollover crash in Lancaster County, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
It happened around 7:40 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Rock Hill Highway and West Rebound Road.Β
Troopers said a Ford F-350 truck and an Audi collided at the intersection. The Ford overturned and went off the left side of the road while the Audi went off the road to the right and struck a guardrail, according to the highway patrol.
There were four occupants in the Ford vehicle. Two passengers were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and another passenger were transported to the hospital with injuries.
The driver and a passenger in the Audi were injured and transported to Piedmont Health.Β
No additional details regarding the collision were released at this time.
This collision remains under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
