Rain and storm chances continue this until 7pm before the system finally begins moving east.

By Tuesday morning, a leftover shower can’t be ruled out, mainly before sunrise. After that, conditions improve quickly. Clouds will gradually break apart, allowing for increasing sunshine through the afternoon.Β AΒ much more comfortable air mass arrives behind the departing system. High temperatures will only reach the mid-70s, and humidity levels will be noticeably lower, making it feel much more refreshing.

The second half of the week is shaping up beautifully.

High pressure takes control Wednesday and Thursday, delivering plenty of sunshine and comfortable temperatures. Wednesday’s high will top outΒ in the upper 70sΒ while Thursday warms slightly into the lower 80s. Morning lows in the upper 50s and lower 60s will make for crisp starts and pleasant evenings. It’s the kind of weather that reminds you why springtime in the Carolinas can be hard to beat.Β
