Investigators focus on area behind home after shooting that sends 1 to the hospital

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – MEDIC says one person has life-threatening injuries after a shooting in north Charlotte. It happened around 5:30 Tuesday afternoon on Norris Avenue, just off Statesville Avenue.

Police were focusing on an area behind a home.

Investigators haven’t said if they’ve caught any suspects.
