Still hot and humid Thursday
Windy through the day Thursday and Friday
Tonight stays warm and muggy with temperatures only falling into the 70s. Weβll keep a quiet sky overnight with a few passing clouds, but there wonβt be much in the way of relief. By the time you wake up Thursday morning, itβll already feel sticky outside.
Thursday brings another hot summer day with highs climbing into the mid 90s, and once you add in the humidity, itβll feel more like the low 100s during the afternoon. Heat index values could easily push 102 to 104 degree range.
Friday looks even hotter and may end up being the hottest day of this stretch. Highs are expected to top out around 95 degrees with lots of sunshine, and itβs going to feel downright oppressive by the afternoon.Β FridayΒ morning is definitely the time toΒ do anyΒ outdoor activities.Β By the second half of the day, the heat is going to be intense and it wonβt take long to feel worn down.
By the time we get to Saturday, the weather pattern starts to loosen its grip. Itβll still be hot, with highs in the low 90s, but weβll begin to see scattered showers and thunderstorms develop during the afternoon and evening. The first half of the day should be fairly quiet, but once we get past lunchtime and later in the afternoon, storm chances will begin to increase. Not everyone will see rain.
By Sunday more widespread rain is in the forecast for a good chunk of the day. This front will give way to a 24 cool down heading into Monday! Stay tuned
