A few more showers tonight, with one more wave of rain Saturday morning

Sunshine returns Sunday

Tonight, don’t expect completely dry conditions just yet. We’ll still have a few showers around through the evening, but most areas stay dry until after midnight, Temperatures are running as much as 10 degrees below average through Saturday.

Saturday follows a similar theme with comfortable temperatures, plenty of clouds, and another round of rain in the morning into early afternoon.  This next round of rain will pack a punch with minor flooding before this storm system moves out. It won’t be an all-day washout, but keep the umbrella nearby if you have outdoor plans. Highs will remain in the 80s with some humidity creeping back up.  By late afternoon Saturday this system will have pushed out of the region leaving a few clouds behind.

Sunday is the pick day of the weekend with bright sunny skies returning! Temperatures will also start inching back toward seasonal levels, with highs returning to the upper 80s and eventually the low 90s into early next week.

Next week we’ll settle back into a more typical summertime pattern. That means warm, humid afternoons with scattered pop-up showers and thunderstorms, mainly during the heat of the day.

ENJOY!
