Afternoon temperatures will climb to around 90 degrees, while you’ll notice the air becoming a little more humid, it still won’t feel overly uncomfortable. The good news is that Friday stays completely dry, making it another great day for any outdoor plans before the weather becomes more active.
Changes arrive as we head into the weekend. Saturday starts off mostly cloudy with temperatures warming into the upper 80s. As we move toward midday and into the afternoon, scattered showers and thunderstorms will begin to develop. It won’t rain all day, but expect periods of showers and storms on and off through the afternoon and evening.
The unsettled pattern continues on Sunday and into early next week as the front stalls across the Carolinas. That stalled boundary will act as a focus for multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms, bringing repeated opportunities for rain over several days.
