ROCK HILL, S.C. – The Rock Hill Police Department is conducting an investigation on a deadly shooting that occurred on Springdale Road near I-77. Officers responded to Springdale Road after several gunshots were reported in the area.
An 18-year-old male was found with gunshot wounds on the ground near the apartment mailboxes when officers arrived. He was transported to the Piedmont Medical Center and was pronounced dead from his injuries. Officers were then notified of a 20-year-old male who also had a gunshot wound.
It was confirmed that both males were involved in the incident that occurred at Springdale Road on August 6th.
This investigation remains ongoing.
