A few storms tonight with rising humidity Thursday

Storm continue Thursday through Saturday

Tonight, rain and storms will gradually increase through the evening. Most of us stay dry, with temperatures dropping into the upper 60s to around 70.

Thursday is when things really start to shift. We’ll begin the day with a mix of sunshine and clouds, and temperatures will climb into the upper 80s. But the humidity is coming back, and that’s going to set the stage for a much more active afternoon. By late morning and into the afternoon, scattered showers and thunderstorms become more likely. These won’t be happening everywhere at the same time, but you could run into a downpour or storm pretty quickly. By Thursday evening, rain chances go up even more, so if you have plans after work, definitely keep the umbrella nearby.

Friday is where the weather takes a much wetter turn. We’re expecting showers and thunderstorms to become widespread, with the best chance for rain coming during the afternoon. All that cloud cover and rain will keep temperatures much cooler, with highs only in the mid-80s.

The unsettled weather doesn’t really let up Friday night, and it carries right into Saturday. Saturday isn’t looking like a complete washout, but there will still be plenty of opportunities for showers and thunderstorms, especially during the afternoon. Highs will stay in the low 80s, so it’s going to feel noticeably cooler.
