Tropical Storm Edouard makes landfall in Louisiana

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -Tropical storm Edouard has made landfall near Johnson Bayou, Louisiana, at 2:20 PM CDT with estimated maximum sustained winds of 60 mph, and minimum pressure of 996 mb
1-3 foot storm surge is likely across parts of Texas and Louisiana. Flash flooding is also possible as up to 9” of rain could fall.
Tropical storm conditions will spread inland through Wednesday as Edouard moves into Texas.
Tropical Storm Edouard, is the fifth named storm of the 2026 Atlantic hurricane season.
