Severe storm alert through the evening
Unsettle weather stays in place through Monday
Saturday brings a little change in the weather pattern as a backdoor cold front slides south. Temperatures won’t be as aggressive with a few clouds in place. We could see an isolated shower or thunderstorm pop up during the afternoon.
By Sunday, temperatures start to go back up as winds shift out of the south. Highs will remain in the upper 80s to 90s under a good amount of sunshine.
The bigger change arrives early next week. Monday stays warm and unsettled, with scattered showers and thunderstorms possible. After several days of hit-or-miss storms, some areas could pick up locally heavy rainfall.
A stronger cold front moves in Tuesday and pushes through Wednesday, bringing a better chance for widespread rain and a noticeable drop in temperatures. By Wednesday and Thursday, cooler air will settle in across the region, and we could be looking at some of the coolest temperatures we’ve seen in awhile. Stay tuned!
