Another Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools executive announces retirement

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools is losing another member of its leadership cabinet. Chief of Staff Chastity Dolan has announced her retirement, effective December 1st. Her last day with the district is November 6th.

Former Chief of Staff Dr. Ingrid Medlock will return to the district to fill the role.

Interim Superintendent Dr. Melissa Balknight will retire from the district on January 1st. So will Chief Financial Officer Kelly Kluttz. Chief Human Resource Officer Angela Wood left September 14th.
