Clear night with more sunshine this week

Tracking tropical rain this weekend

Tonight stays quiet and comfortable across the region. Skies will remain mostly clear, with temperatures settling into the lower 50s by early Tuesday morning. Humidity that’s still lingering around will soon exit.

Tuesday brings a noticeable change! Drier air will move in behind the recent front, giving us a much more comfortable afternoon. Look for plenty of sunshine with highs climbing into the mid-70s.

Then we hit the sweet spot for the middle of the week. Wednesday and Thursday are shaping up to be beautiful, with lots of sunshine and cool mornings in the 50s. Afternoon temperatures will warm into the low to mid-70s, making for some of the nicest weather we’ve had in some time.

A system developing in the Gulf of Mexico could become a tropical depression or even Tropical Storm Isaias. Regardless of whether it gets a name, the moisture associated with that system is expected to head our way this weekend. That sets us up for a much better chance of widespread rain. Stay tuned!
