Clear and quiet night with more great weather this week

Tracking a tropical system this weekend

Tonight brings another clear and comfortable evening, with much drier air settling in. Temperatures will fall into the 50s making for another cool early morning.

Wednesday looks fantastic from start to finish. Sunshine will be the story with temperatures in the upper 70s. Not much to worry about weather wise!

We warm things up a bit more Thursday as temperatures climb into the low to mid-80s. Skies will stay mostly sunny, and the dry weather continues. Friday keeps that same pattern going with plenty of sunshine and afternoon temperatures in the low 80s.

A change begins to show up Saturday. Clouds will increase, and while most of the day should stay dry, I can’t completely rule out a stray shower. It will also be cooler, with highs only reaching the low 70s.

Sunday is the day we’re watching closely. The forecast gets much more complicated as a tropical system moves across the Gulf and interacts with a frontal boundary. Exactly where that system tracks will determine how much moisture makes it into our area. Right now, we could see a much wetter day with a decent amount of rain. There’s still a lot that needs to come together before we talk totals.  Our next tropical system will come together in the Gulf by Thursday.
