Perfect Fall Evening With More Sunshine Friday

Falling temperatures Saturday

Tonight: We’re looking at another quiet and comfortable fall evening across the region. Skies will stay mostly clear, allowing temperatures to cool off nicely after sunset. You may want to grab a light jacket as that fall chill settles in.

Friday: We’re wrapping up the workweek with another beautiful day! Expect plenty of sunshine and dry conditions across the Piedmont. Whether you’re running errands, heading out for lunch, or making plans for Friday night football, the weather should cooperate. A weak cold front will help usher in some cooler air heading into the weekend, but don’t expect much, if any, rain out of it.

Saturday and Sunday: Now, if you have outdoor plans this weekend, I don’t see any reason the weather should get in your way! We’re talking about a nice stretch of sunshine with afternoon temperatures settling into the mid-60s. That’s a little cooler than what we’ve been experiencing, but certainly nothing unusual for late October. Mornings and evenings will have that crisp fall feeling, so you’ll probably want an extra layer.

Looking Ahead to Next Week: Don’t expect any big surprises in the forecast. Sunshine will continue to dominate, and temperatures should gradually climb back into the 70s as we head into the new workweek. Our weather pattern remains pretty quiet, with no significant storm systems expected to bring us much-needed rainfall.
