Clear skies tonight with upper 70s Tuesday

Light showers Wednesday night

Tonight, skies will remain fairly quiet as temperatures cool down after sunset. Weโ€™re not tracking any major weather concerns, so it should be a pleasant evening to get outside before temperatures drop overnight. Lows will stay in the upper 40s.

Tuesday is shaping up to be another beautiful day! Weโ€™ll see a nice mix of sunshine and a few passing clouds, with afternoon temperatures climbing into the middle 70s. Thatโ€™s a little warmer than what we typically expect this time of year, but certainly nothing to complain about.

By Wednesday, weโ€™ll start noticing some changes in the sky. Clouds will gradually increase as our next weather system approaches the Carolinas. Now, I know many of us are hoping this will finally bring some much-needed rainfall, but unfortunately, this doesn’t look like the system that will put a significant dent in our ongoing dry conditions.

Our best opportunity for a few showers arrives late Wednesday into Thursday. Some neighborhoods could pick up a brief downpour, but the rain will be scattered rather than widespread.

As we head toward the end of the workweek, the overall weather pattern looks to remain relatively quiet. While we may squeeze out a little moisture from this midweek system, it won’t be nearly enough to make up for our rainfall deficit.
