CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The 5100 block of N. Tryon Street near Eastway Drive was temporarily shut down after an accident Tuesday night that knocked down power lines.
CMPD had the roads closed in both directions. One person in the wreck was taken to CMC by medic with potentially life-threatening injuries.
Crews worked to restring the lines and reopened the roadway Wednesday morning.
