More Than 200 Pounds Of Chicken Recalled At Harris Teeter

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The USDA announced that B. Roberts Foods recalled more than 200 pounds of chicken because the product contained milk but did not list it in the ingredients.

The chicken was also mislabeled as “grilled chicken breast with lemon spaghetti,” but should have been labeled “grilled chicken breast with sun-dried tomato pasta.”

The 10-ounce refrigerated packages of chicken were sold in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Virginia, Washington D.C., Maryland and Delaware.

Corporate Communications with Harris Teeter says they were notified of the recall last week and promptly removed the chicken from shelves. They also notified the shoppers who purchased the chicken by phone or email.
