STANLY COUNTY, N.C. — Christopher Talero, 27, and girlfriend Heather Stacey, 40, were arrested on Friday and charged with felony larceny after stealing from a metal recycling facility on July 9 and 10.
Victim Sharon Wayman contacted police that someone stole items from her property.
Deputies were able to obtain warrants for Talero and Stacey and recovered a stolen cub cadet tractor and scrap metal.
Talero was charged with three counts of felony larceny and Stacey was charged with two counts.
Stacey was given a $2,500 secured bond and Talero was given a $5,000 bond.
They are both scheduled to appear in the Albemarle District Court on Monday, July 28.
